  • Gktech front drop knuckles

I see they have a grip knuckle, a drift/grip knuckle and a drift knuckle. My s14 is used for road racing but having more steering angle if I want to drift once on a while looks appealing. Would the modified ackerman angle effect grip and also is having a steering angle kit on a grip car dangerous for any reason? Any advice or experience with these knuckles would be appreciated.

I bought the drift/grip knuckles for my car, but car still isn't back up and running so I can't speak to how they feel.

I'm coming from a set of stock knuckles that were modified for some roll center correction and quicker steering already, and the steering pickup on the knuckle is def shorter with the GK. I like the quick steering, which is why I didn't want their 'grip' knuckle.

Cool, thanks for the reply. Yeah, quick steering also sounds appealing. Maybe when your car is back up and running, let me know how it feels after you have done some grip max attack on some sweepers.

Hi, I'm seeing this way late.. but we put GKtech grip knuckles on our S13 road racing car in search of some more mid-corner front grip. The first time driving the car on track I could feel it, and for a situation where you are chasing every little bit it's worth it. For a street/fun car I don't know that it's really worth it. It's very subtle.

I have the grip knuckles on my Time Attack S13 - it definitely made a difference.

I ended up never installing the front knuckles as the MCS have short ears and interfere with the GKTech spindle. Would require MCS to build new housings with longer ears. At this point not worth it.

I'll post the for sale here soon.
