We use this in our Ground Vehicle Aerodynamics class. Since I havn't seen any other aero book, i can't compare it to anything, but I can tell you everything is well organized and explained.

If you want, I can send you all of my power point lectures from that class as long as its not published publicly anywhere on the net. They go along with Katz's book, as well as additional stuff from our aerospace professors and data from the Langley Wind tunnel.

I'd like to see that stuff. I always enjoy pouring over wind tunnel data.

I'd rather see more people involved in FSAE than your lecture notes...but I look forward to seeing them. I have Aerodynamics next term but I don't know what book we'll be using yet.

I have to say that if Competition Car Suspension is any indication then Competition Car Aerodynamics will be pretty damn good

I know this is layman stuff but then I'm not an ME and just a laymna, very general but what the hey... thought it was useful reminder for some basic things. I know oddly enough from hotrod magazine

At the MotorTrend How-To section, you’ll learn how to perform the car improvements you want to do, thanks to DIY knowledge on how-to make an engine more powerful, improve a suspension, have brakes stop better, and much, much more.

<500/hr during which if you plan ahead you can do 6 runs.

yeah blew me away. I mean if you take things seriously dropping less than $1000 to make probably 8 runs (cuz you have to cover installing and removing car) (they said you could get 6 runs per hour if you are quick) doesnt seem too bad at all. Especially since you might be able to make some pretty significant improvements.

Still not cheap but hella cool that it's within the realm of affordability.
