My alternative is to simply push the hose out through the backside, but a smooth transition piece (like a NACA duct) is highly preferable.
There are a few different designs here:

How about something like this work?

Is there room to fit a hose between the framerail and wheel? I suppose you could always route the hose to the top of the wheel well and then route the hose down, but that seems rather complicated and may cause an issue. I know for vettes there is a brake dust shield that features a slip on hose connection for brake ducting. I think this would be ideal for maximum cooling in combination with a NACA duct.

I actually bought a few of the NACA ducts from RPW, but none of them graft well into the S-chassis bumper.

I suppose they could be made to work though? I would just like something for brake ducting. It doesn't necessarily have to look good or anything... I may just buy a couple of those and use some fiberglass in conjunction.

I may start a new thread on this subject.

Please do so when you get around to working on them. I didn't want to mess with fiberglass on top of the ducts, and was planning on simply pushing the hose through the hole as a temporary measure.

The best thing to do (since you're going to mess with fiberglass) is to design a plug mold and make ducts from it, although I bet CF ones would sell like hotcakes if Bill felt up to making a set.

My thread was mainly going to be asking if anybody else has made anything. I am guessing most just have the SPL deflectors, which I don't think are nearly as effective as true brake ducting. Although, it is kind of self explanatory after seeing the brake ducting on my friend's FRC C5. My only concern as I mentioned before is clearance between the wheel/tire and the body at full lock in either direction. I can see a good setup making Z32 brakes a very effective setup even under long track events.

I won't be starting on it until I return from deployment, which is a few months out.
