Not all of the real racers are on large budgets. There are some cheapasses out there... But if you want to know what works, that is the place to look.

As far as Nissankat's data, Gainesville is a bad track to test aero at...

      What did he find?

He could probably chime in and tell u more, but he showed data w/ and w/o a front splitter (one of the nascar one's set at 3"out). the data log showed no significant difference.

Given the nature of the track (I've never been on it) it has slow corners and probably not the best aero track around... (as stated by Cory who does have lots of time on this track)

He also found a swaybar linkage problem that could have caused a problem when the splitter was installed.

Hope u don't mind me sharing NissanKat

He'll probably do Roebling in the near future. That would be a much better track for aero testing.

My testing of the splitter was very inconclusive and that is why I had not posted it up yet. Gainesville's track is very small with no corners of a higher speed then 45mph. I do not believe that is fast enough to do much of a splitter test. On the weekend of the 20th I will be heading to Roebling Road again where I will do a better test and post the results.

Thanks for Chiming in. Looking forward to hearing about your Roebling Road experience. I shoveled snow off the driveway today so no testing for me for a while yet.

Since this is budget wings, based on fitment and dimensions alone, the Megan Racing "Drift spec" wing doesn't look bad. I found one for as little as $320. http://www.meganracing.com/products/...id=440&catid=6
