  • S14 rear upper mount solution...

I don't wanna spend $150 on some Tein pillow mounts, and I would like to put the load through the shaft, I don't suppose I can try to put that load on the OEM upper mount bearing...?

I suppose you could, but it'd still require a bit of work with getting a top hat and having the force go to the right parts of the mount.

I'd still say go for a spherical bearing if at all possible.

didn't imagine that scenario, I need to get my hands on some to look at them... although in the end the far beautiful solution would be to go with some Tein pillow mounts.

Just keep searching the forsale section on zilvia. I got a set of unused tein upper mounts for well under $100.
