  • What accessory pulleys underdrive the most?

Long time no talk guys, but I am back and my car is back, so I'll be around... I hope that all is well and that you all have done a good job of keeping the shiny side up!

I need some help here. I want to underdrive my accessories as much as possible. I am running a KA-E... As far as I can tell any RWD E, DE, or SR pulleys will bolt on, but diameter and number of ribs may vary.

SR P/S pulleys are a different diameter, correct? but are they smaller around or larger?

So what brand / application / year pulleys will net me the most underdrive? I have searched til I got a headache and people on the phone have not been very helpful... seems like few people out there care about the specifics, but I know you guys can help me!!!

    thank you!

I have a couple power steering pulleys that have v-belts on them. they're fairly significantly larger than the oem pulley. unfortunately they're V belt, so you'll need a custom crank pulley.

I remember you had those... Probably from/ for the hardbody trucks. V belts are technically not legal for me to run technically.

Maybe asking a few guys to help out with diameter and belt type of what they have on the car would help, vs just asking "what's the best"
compile a little info, then make that decision for yourself.

They did. I do believe the stopped production of the KA kits around 04-05?
Or atleast I have yet to find a place that sells them.

I currently have just an ASP Crank Pulley.
NST Also makes full KA Kits.

It let me add it to a cart on their website. Looks like they are still available.

You can choose accessory, underdrive accessory, or crank. http://www.unorthodoxracing.com/ Choose year make and model. You can even choose a silvia but the selection there is limited.

I was gonna make the suppliers do that lol but not a bad thought. I had gotten away from this but maybe will get back to it...

I found NST but they didn't seem to have full kits, they were missing a pulley
