I've had enough interest in this recently that I think I'll do another small batch. I have an email out to the machine shop about prices and will post something as soon as I have the info.

I built this spreadsheet ages ago but should be helpful in determining piston size. Let me know if you see any errors in my math, FYI VR4 is for a 3000GT VR4 rotor with a Z32 caliper which I ran in the past.

Here is what the spindle looks like. If you think it would be ok, put me down for a set.

If anyone else has any input, please pm me or post here. I want to run these because of the relatively low cost of the bracket, until I figure out what brakes I will run permanently.

EDIT: I have been talking to GKTech over facebook, and they say running a bracket should not be an issue. Do you by any chance have any photos of the bracket on the spindle, so I can get an idea of how it fits, and to see if it will work with the spindles I have.

I'd be careful. The GKTech spindles definitely put material where there is none on the stock spindle. It might very well work, but its very possible to run into clashes.

I'm guessing they'll work, but it might be tight in a few areas.

It looks like if these brackets go to the back, I may have issues.

I guess this guy was having some issues with his dynalite set up. (not sure how similar the two would be)

Honestly it'll take a full fit check to see if they'll work, either in CAD or real life.

In looking through my online pictures, no, I don't have a good one of the bracket on the spindle. I can check when I get back from the beach.

If you can, that would be great. I want a set, I would just like to figure out if it will fit. I also don't like the idea of having to remove any of the material of the bracket to make it work. You built them the way you did for a reason, and I would rather not sacrifice their structural integrity just to make them fit. (better safe than sorry)

Do you have the center-to-center distance for the caliper ears?

The GKTech bracket fits a stock caliper, it's just a question of does the additional bracket interfere with anything on the upright.

That is what I would've imagined, although it seems a tad silly to design a spindle that, by default, uses an OE sliding caliper instead of a fixed one.

Z32 calipers bolt right to them just like the stock spindle slick.
