Just wondering, never seen that on a bearing before and most of the rest of them dont look like that.

yeah since it's bonded to a kevlar weave it does that, it's superior to the straight PTFE (teflon) ones with no substrate

Sweet stuff. I was wondering what the hell it was because it looked like moss was growing on the race and I'd never seen it before on any of the other spherical type bearings I've run across. I was like WTF is this stuff?!

Yea, some bearings have just a PTFE goop injected around the ball(Auroras looked like this). These have a kevlar liner, which helps impact resistance and "pound out."

A few at this point. I've sold a couple since the GB, so I don't have an accurate count.. No idea how long they'll last if that's what you're asking. I'd guess I'll have then for at least a few weeks, but it will probably be a while before there is another GB, and this one that just ended might be the last. Depends on the demand really.

Found out the TT version uprights have a .030" larger hole for the tie rod so only buy the NA Z32 upright if you are changing out the original tie rod end.

I used a strip of sheet metal .010" thick and lined the hole, then pressed in the bushing. It seems to be working but I haven't tried it on the car yet.

This was also brought to my attention for GTR uprights which also use a balljoint.

You might want to put Loctite 620 bearing mount on the shim and bearing sleeve.
