Removing parts off the old car was not as easy as I hoped it would be. For one...I didn't have air tools out at my parents house where the car had to be delivered because I didn't have enough space in my garage (someone else's car is currently occupying that location). For two...it seems every bolt had decided to weld itself into place with rust, as the car has been sitting for a year uncovered. I purchased an electric impact which worked wonders despite only having 250 ft lbs of torque it has worked flawlessly. It is a little cumbersome due to it's size but we've managed to get onto every bolt necessary thus far.Between rides...unless you count a WD21...

We spent a while discussing yesterday the eventual outcome of this project, and decided we'll want more power than the GTiR T28 will be able to manage. For longevity purposes I'll use another log manifold, like the one currently on my B14. For a turbo I'll go either with the indispensible Turbonetics 50 trim, SC50, or similar setup. I don't think I would ever need more than 400 whp on a road course out of a FWD, but right about that I think would be perfect.=) These turbo changes will mandate a change in diff and transmission as well, from the stock B13 trans to a B15/P11 trans with a Nismo diff.Between rides...unless you count a WD21...

Good stuff. My friend just did the same thing on his KA (tapped into the block, rather than the flimsy pan). I like it since you don't have to worry about the oil level blocking off the drain line, and you can get a better angle for the drain. Why the hose barb, though? No AN fittings for the drain line? I had a turbo blow out on me from the line kinking up against something, and almost had the line ripped off by debris (i.e. cones). I opted to go AN fittings with braided steel lines afterwards (never finished my front splitter/ motor protection).
