  • Wilwood Clearance Thread

I figured it would be a good idea to have a list here of the wheels that clear the Wilwood/Fastbrakes setup.

    11.75"

    ATS Comp Lite 15x7 +35
    Pro Race 1.2 15x7 +35
    Pro Race 1 15x7 +35
    949 Racing 6UL 15x7 and 15x8
    Volk TE37 15x7 +35
    Enkei RS-Evolution 16x7 +35mm

    11.00"

    Enkei RP02
    Rota C8
    Rota Subzero
    Rota Grid
    Kosei K1 15x7 +38

    Flunk list

The list is all for the 15" sizes.

Might be worth it to mention which wilwood calipers these are.
I know some of the kits come with Dynalite or Superlite calipers- not sure which application you're referring to.

Most all of the verifications above were done with dynalites... as this is the most common setup for the sentra guys for wilwood brake kits.

I did testing on the ATS's, TD 1.0, and TD 1.2's for this list on the SR20forum when I had a sentra and it was with billet dynalites. I miss all these wheels... cheap, light, and durable.

Otay.. In that case, throw 16x7 +35mm Enkei RS-Evolution in the pile for fitting 11.75" rotors. It's got a mm or 2 to spare, but that's about it.

I will assume you already did this, but if not, watch closely for any contact. I have heard of rims being sawed in half from heat expansion under hard lapping.

I'm using bigger wheels now, but thanks.

Fortunately, where the wheels were close to hitting was a part of the clamping assembly and had plenty of room to 'self-clearance' with the caliper.
