  • Balljoints for rear lower control arms

No one seems to sell a replacement ball joint for the rear LCAs.

My goal is to replace the bushings in my rear LCAs with poly bushings, and put in a new ball joint.

Either that or get some Nismo rear LCAs.

What options do I have for rear LCA ball joints? I've read on NICO on using B12 sentra front ball joints in the rear. Can anyone confirm this?

Does anyone know of any other options?

Should I just suck it up and buy new OEM rear LCAs?
Should I get the Nismo rear LCAs?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Bumnah.

If this is for an S14 you can just use the same ball joints you use on the front.

As noted above, you can get the front ball joints for the 89 Sentra, and they are a match for s13 rear ball joints. I have done it and they fit great. I believe the Moog part number is Moog: K9509 but double check that.

                  www.rockauto.com

Lists the front ball joint for an 89 Sentra as K9633.

                  I'm ordering now.

The B12 and B13 front ball joints should be the same, which match the rear lower ball joint on the S13.
                    Between rides...unless you count a WD21...

They're close but no cigar. The B12's are 38.1mm vs the original at 38.05mm. The B13's are almost 39mm. I've tried both so it's not 2nd hand info.

I have used the Moog K9633 on my S13 and it's a perfect fit. Don't use the other one as it will be harder to install.
