  • Circuit Sports Suspension Arms

Do any of you have any experience with the Circuit Sports suspension arms? Their prices sound too good to be true but they look like they're made well.

From pricing it looks like they would have same quality as megan parts. Bearings prolly wear out quick or rust up quick.

Why pay more than what the "old school" SPL looking arms go for on eBay? They seem of reasonable quality as far as welding and fitment goes.

Then just replace the rod ends with something good. Even the much touted SPL arms only come with ~$15/ea rod ends, so nothing special. You can buy some pretty cheap arms and replace the rod ends and maybe even get some spares for when they wear out if you put a lot of miles on your car.

CS is pretty much just the Phase2 house brand. The difference between them and the ebay ones is that if you are getting them from phase2 they will stand behind them.

How about the Project Silvia arms? They seem to be good quality and are affordable as well.

They're just cheap eBay arms resold with a "brand name."

I just don't understand paying the markup for a still crappy product(and it's mainly the bearings that make them crappy), even if someone is standing behind them.

Yeah I got some ebay RUCA and toe arms for 120 shipped and replaced the rod ends with Aurora rod ends ($60 a pieceX4). Still much cheaper then SPL arms now and have basically the best rod ends in a reasonable price range.

No reason to use $60/ea rod ends when $15/ea ones give plenty of load rating for the application.

Upgrading the rod ends is a great idea for someone like me who found out they need new arms but cant afford the high performance stuff right away. This way Ill be able to get something functional in there now and throw in the top quality bearings when I can.

That'll change your alignment. Just get some eBay arms and toss in new rod ends. Done.

So you guys don't have any concerns with the welds on the cheap ebay arms?

I have never actually heard anyone complain about a cheap control arm breaking...

There was some reviews on freshalloy where someone took pix of snappage and rust inside and what have you but meh... PJ/aceinhole and i guess some others are fine with them so far (with replaced rodends).

I have circuit sports RUCA and Toe Rods. They're OK at best. I don't see a large difference from Megan Racing suspension arms. But i will replace with Peak Performance when more $$$$ rolls through.
