  • roll center adjusters now being sold everywhere

I thought it was discussed on here that these things dont do anything?

Fronts and rears, for s13 and for s14/s15/r3x/z32. Costing a heavy penny too.

I was looking at them as well. I know the Honda guys like the roll center adjusters on their rides. Megan racing offers roll center adjuster at a more conservative price point as well. I don't trust megan racing for anything so I personally wouldn't use them.

For the price of these roll center adjusters, you may as well look at Battle Version replacement lower control arms for a bit more. I've been debating on what to do about my lower control arms. I planning on running poly urethane bushings in the front and rear lower control arms, and I will be replacing the ball joints with Moog balljoints. It's the most cost efficient approach right now. Use that for the time being, and hopefully upgrade to the SPL replacements in the future....

I have no plans to make LCAs. Not enough time to do the development work.

If someone wants to indicate what might need correcting I would add that to my parts to fab list,

I have been trying to figure out what that lower arm needs to look like for quite some time now.

I think you've got me confused with someone else.. maybe Richard said that. I've never said I'd make LCAs. Although I do have an idea on how I'd do it.

Mainly the same stuff you see on the Ikeya Formula arms, but built with good bearings would be a good start. Ability to adjust track and roll center location.

I'm not making anything like that anytime soon. I barely have enough time to eat 3 meals a day... I only post on here for brief breaks in work to keep somewhat sane.

The moonface racing parts are legit, I would trust them. The knockoff/no-name brand RCA's are useless though. Waaaayyyyyy cheaper than the ikeya formula lca's, although still not cheap.

                          Just throwing this out there.

In my searches for rod ends I've noticed that most rod end manufacturers make ball joints as well. I'm unsure of the exact sizes needed but has anyone checked it out to see if anyone makes a super long ball joint that could be used with a rubber bushing or something to change the roll center.

I was browsing through my old Hyper Rev parts catalog, and some companies sell similar roll center adjusters to the Moonfrace. Also, I found a few more pictures of the Moonface roll center ball joints on frsport

I'm interested to see if these work at all, b/c my friend with an Evo8 running stance coilovers has swore to me up and down that the Whiteline roll center ball joints made his car handle so much better while cornering.

Someone on there also thought to post some install pics and review, comparing the stock balljoints vs the Moonface.

There's a huge thread in the Dampers forum about this already...
