  • S13 and S14 OBD1 engine harnesses compatible?

Dad has a '93 Hatchback 5MT and has some issues in the harness. I have a spare harness out of a 95 5MT.

    He's using an S13 ECU w/ NIStune..

Any chance that harness will drop in, or will it take more work than it's worth?

(If not, does someone have a good S13 engine harness available?)

They don't swap. S14 harness layout is different and the intake mani plugs are all different, too.

make me a reasonable offer-- not sure what the going rate is for a harness..

As long as it's a 95 OBD1 Harness the Manifold Plugs and Sensor Plugs are the same.
Main difference being the 14 not having a connector for the coil as it's internal, having a IAT plug and the MAF Plug being different.
I'm using a 95 14 KA in my 13 and all I changed was the Temp Sensor to a 13 one for the gauge to read right.

Main difference being the Body/Dash harness plug.
          Not worth doing IMO.
