  • s13/z32 rear pillowball mounts

Deluboz (top speed 1 on ebay) doesn't carry these any more. They were the best value at ~$45 for a pair.

Any other place I should be looking for cheap stuff?

Teins are ~$150 and not really worth the money. But striking out for other options.

Pretty sure the answer is only tein, but wondering if someone else had stumbled across something better.

I think this is the only option from ebay now:

Buy blown rear coilovers off zilvia kids for peanuts and replace the sphericals. I've "acquired" several sets of the OOOLLLLLLDDDDDD Tein rear coilovers and am re-using the upper mounts. The only issue is that they're for 70mm springs so you've gotta run a separate upper spring perch, which is better anyways IMO. FYI the standard JDM spherical size for upper mounts is 18mm...

Yeah, just like all the camber plates. Just need 18mm OD bushings with 14mm ID for konis.

So, just as a PSA, the Mookeh rear plates that are on ebay don't fit in the back of an s13. The studs have the correct spacing but the allen bolts run into the car.

How thick is the aluminum? That looks pretty easy to countersink and use a short countersunk bolt there.

They're 1/4" thick. Oh sure, you can make them work. But they won't work out of the box.

I had another set laying around that I used instead.

edit: ebay dudes are making me another set and sending them to me to try

What about the inserts for the actual shaft diameter?

It's an 18mm ID just like everything else. If you're doing koni 86s then you can either by the 14mm ID/18mm OD bronze bushings, or the same ebay seller sells these now too:

                          http://www.ebay.com/itm/161148529225...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Those will also work with 3000gt bilsteins.

The thread inserts that come with the plates are m12x1.5 which is the stock size, but obv doesn't work with the other stuff.

I'm building a set of koni yellows/ground controls and used these guys for my rear mounts as well. They sent me s13 mounts, when I needed the much larger s14 mounts. I told them about the issue and they got on it right away. I had new plates by the end of the week to the size I gave them. Fit like a charm. Notice how I also got 1/2'' on the new plate with everything counter sunk.

Made in the usa, and a quality product. $100 shipped.

Yeah I alerted them that s14 and s15 were different than s13. Glad they got it sorted.
