  • SPL Tie rods

Went to install some of these little guys, and much to my dismay, the hex adjuster was threaded RH/RH, the inner Z33 tie rods included were RH thread, and the outer tie rod ends were RH threaded, is this how they come ? Shouldn't they be RH/LH threaded with a LH thread rod end ?

No. The ball joint on the inner tie rod rotates freely, so you only have one point of adjustment- exactly like the factory tie rod setup.

Yep, screw rod end all the way in, adjust on the inner tie rod like factory. This is why you need shorter inners like Z32s.

I'd have expected that to cut the adjustment down normally, but I guess theres more than double the rod ends shank in threaded section of the tie rod, fair enough.

Yup.. the ones I made were too long and the rod end bottomed out on the tie rod end before I could get the thing straight. I pulled the rod end out and cut off a chunk of it so I had about 1.5*dia of engagement. I think I took about 1/2" off mine.
