  • Cheap 15x8s which clear Z32 brakes?

    Any suggestions?

There's a bunch of them on eBay, but I've no idea which might clear or how much their weigh. This is for Chump Car, so wheels are generally consumables and we can't run spacers.

Edit: Oh, that is in a 4x114.3 bolt pattern. Yes we redrill our rotors.

    Thanks for any help.

You can't run spacers in chump? That sucks! I've been racing in LeMons and they don't even look in there. I'm planning on running a Chump event next year though so that's good to know.

Interested to see if there are 15x8's out there...

You can run spacers, but they are $5 a corner. Don't ask me why when wheels are nearly open; it makes no sense.

I was thinking of trying these: http://www.frsport.com/522-Concaved-...k_p_19232.html

We run XXRs on our Z, and haven't had any failures not caused by contact.

        Any luck with this?

This has me considering going with 15x8's as well if they clear Z32 brakes. I'm particularly fond of these, would just have to get proper spacers for the hub bore:

We're on 4-lugs, so I was probably going to try these:

Right, why the 4 lugs again?

And do you know of other people who have used 15's with Z32 brakes? I really want to do this for next season.

We already have them, and because they'd technically be a value-add in ChumpCar racing. They require re-drilling the rotors, but fortunately the rotors last a long time.

Seems like you get greater wheel availability with 4-lugs, for whatever that is worth.

Interesting. 26mm Z32's fit in the stock S13 wheels. I have the 30mm calipers, but I think this can work out with a concave spoke design. I think I might give these a try:

As for wheel availability, based on my experience 5x114.3 is by far the most popular bolt pattern for aftermarket wheel selection as I've owned cars with 4x100, 4x114.3, 5x100, and 5x114.3.

Miatas are 4-lug, and many cheap Miata 15x8 4x100 wheels also have 4x114.7 patterns on them.
