  • Uninstalling SAFC question

Tomorrow I will be working toward uninstalling my SAFC, which means I may have to solder some wires back together, and what ever else comes my way.

Is there anything I should do or not do when doing something like this?

Nope. Should be straight forward if it was wired correctly.

If you dont already, get some radio shack solder, regular tin/lead, regular heat shrink is ok, a nice upgrade would be marine grade heatshrink, but with the wires under the dash not necessarily required.

What about Kester solder? Would that work?

Well, it wasn't wired very well. Just.. stupid. So it's not so straight forward.

Indeed, mainly just not some of the crap that you find at wally world, parts stores, etc.
