  • New SPL Lower Control Arms Coming Soon

I just got off the phone with SPL and they are doing final testing on their new Lower Control Arms. As long as everything checks out they are hoping to have them available within a month or two. Pricing is hoped to be more like 600 a pair which is way down from 900. I don't have any solid details on em, just thought you guys might want to know.

    Niiiiice.
Now that I've modified the crap out of my Chinaspeed arms to make them work.

I'll probably just go with some Speedway Engineering arms and mofidy them whenever the rod ends wear out on the Chinaspeed ones.

No they are coming out with front and rear the way I understood it. The 500-600 price goal was for the rears. I didn't ask they guy about the fronts, I assume they might be a little cheaper.

You know, they didnt have them available, I just got their sphericals to go with the toe/trac/rucas in the rear, and the only thing left stock back there is the lowers, now this, oh well another part to buy

I am very interested. I bought the Nams arms marketed by them back in '06 and to be honest, I was expecting better. However, they've been relatively cheap to maintain but the rear seems slightly more fragile than I'm comfortable with and the bearings are kinda ****e.

PBM's spindles and LCA/caster rod setup is pretty wicked. I wonder what they will come up with.

I was looking through Dai Yoshihara's 2011 season vehicle overview on MotoIQ and it seems he has some of the prototype SPL LCAs.

                        Fronts:

Those appear to be the old spl ones...
