  • Odd noise. ka24de.

Hey guys. I've been lurking for awhile, But i need some help.

Engine is a freshly rebuilt ka.
(lower end was done by a machine shop awhile back. Then i bought this engine from a friend.)

Im getting this odd noise when i hand crank the engine.

    Anybody have any ideas?

I just replaced the head after the woodruff key sheared and took out my valves.
all timing should be correct. I was getting this noise with the last head too.
    Thanks!

I've tried feeling for the noise on the oil pan but can't feel anything. I have a few people saying maybe loose pressure plate..

I ran across one like that and it turned out the flywheel bolts were loose.
