  • S13 - rebound setting for koni yellow + RSR race

So I've decided to go koni yellows and rsr race on my s13. What's a good starting point for rebound adjustment? Halfway? Spring rates are 5k front and 4.2k rear. Thanks

Halfway or a little more sounds good to me.

Thanks, hopefully half works out on the rears since you can't adjust without pulling them...

After driving my dad's S13 w/ Koni Yellows and Eibachs, I'd say go for more. I wound up with his almost full stiff before I was happy with them. Unfortunately I have to admit Def was right that eibachs are too damn soft on an S13.. They were great on my Maxima, but not on an S-chassis.

I'm a little bit apprehensive about going too stiff on rebound in the rear. I've got the 21mm hicas sway back there and am a little worried about picking up tires on turns. Or am I not thinking that through correctly...

sort of off topic but the rear konis don't come with spring seats right? right now I've got gr-2 in the rear that I would prefer not to hack up to take the spring seats (if that is even possible?)

is there any place to buy just the springs seats? or should I just to the junk yard and drift some off some oem rear shocks?

Just called Dad.. he said he's "pretty sure" he had to cut the old seats off his stock shocks and reuse them. But knowing that old man, I wouldn't bet the farm on that.

yeah I think he's right - I dunno if the seats will even come off of the gr-2 though, I know you can get em off the stockers

?? Mine came with seats. Granted they are an S14 set but my rears came with everything except the top mounts.

I need a rear pair of spring seats if someone has a pair laying around.

so does that mean you bought konis and didn't get any included? I'm off to the junkyard tomorrow morning to pull a couple, if I get lucky and my koni's come with them you can have the pulls
