electric water pump ???

im new to this forum and i did some searching and was unable to find out what is a good eletric water pump or should i stick with my stock one if any one is runing an eletric water pump tell your set up and hp im shooting for 500 in my sr22det heres what im running (90mm pistons 11:1CR stoct strock 810cc injectors BC264 cams GT2876R w/.86a/r 21psi boost custom ported head nismo thermostat 3row rad ) looking for input

11.1:1 C/R & 21 PSI of Boost? What kidn fo Fuel are you running? Stock Water Pump is fine. Been used on many High HP apps. even ones that will make more then your GT2876R.

Sorry, a GT2876R won't make 500 HP. I run the same turbo. I only wish it'd make 500 HP... hah

I'd personally stay away from an electric water pump. Just underdrive the stocker and you're good.

You built an 11:1 CR big bore motor? Sounds like a nice N/A setup with a VE head...but not what I would do for running big boost and trying to max out a bottom mount turbo. Instead I'd do 9:1 CR and run a top mount 3071R or 3076R, or a 2871R to make about 400 whp tops with pretty quick spool.

im running VP ms109 i emailed them whit my set up and thay say that it will be fine.

I think the Saturn Aura or whatever it is was just a rebadged Astra.

I have a Astra power steering pump. But I have not dared to install it as I'm afraid it will burn the generator. That sucker has a 80Amp fuse!

On that subject, is the SR alternator interchangeble with any nissan high output alternators. From trucks or SUV's?

You can throw on a Quest Alternator. Either the 110A or 125A. Cody makes the brackets IIRC.
