There were loads of threads on www.sxoc.com when it was first spotted.

Hi there, I thought it was about time i put up some pics of my track car now that its finnished. We took these yesterday after i finally got it running and managed to get it out of the garage under its own power! Its taken 3 years of hard graft to get it to this point and i never thought id see the day, so i was more than happy!! I had thought about having a project thread from the beginning, as i have hundreds of photos from during the build. But then i would never have time to work

        Spotted on track.

Went today with my friend in his DC2, and was shocked to see that mental thing parked up in the fog! Anyway, thought I'd make these the first of the pics I edited: http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/8213/96319785.jpg http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/7955/21833583.jpg http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/7065/40590141.jpg http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/6632/83584360.jpg

it's rad, except for the Tein Flex
well that and the no rear bumper look. I wish people would start building basically the sides of the rear bumper. Go ahead and cut the bottom of the trunk out to make a new trunk floor, and go ahead with the massive diffuser, but at least keep the sides of the rear bumper so it doesn't just have a ridiculous horizontal line.

Oh and no strut tower brace? I mean the cage runs past the firewall to the strut tower but no brace across the engine?

Still though, I'd love to have it hehe

Wow, it's been so long since I've seen that car. Loved it back then & LOVE IT MORE now

That splitter is bolted on very cleanly (can't see any support rods, if it has any).

do a before/after with and without a FSTB on a fully caged car, and you'll see why. (It's just added weight at that point)

It will still make things stiffer since you're "completing the box." Not as big of a difference as a stock car with one, but still a difference.

Couldn't tell a single difference on my car, and I don't even have the towers braced to the cage- the braces stop at the firewall. so I pulled it off and saved the weight on the nose.

The setup was mentioned earlier this year by a member from this site.

It was a very constructive post iirc and he was asked to join.
