Anyone know what the crank case filer p/n is for a ka?
Huh?
The little filter mounted on the valve cover of that engine is an aftermarket part. You can get those at a parts house or thru Summit, etc.
That filter is connected to what's normally the inlet to the PCV system. There's a baffle inside the timing chain cover, with an outlet (hidden behind the thermostat housing) that connects to the PCV valve on the intake manifold.
Yeah that's venting to atmosphere/your engine bay as opposed to plumbing back into the intake. I've seen those filters for $15-$20 most times that I've come across them, but I'm sure if you look you can find them for much, much less.
That little filter just turns into a smoke bomb if you have a car with even a little blowby. my car turns into a smokescreen with all the oil spitting out of it if I vent it to the intake. I had to vent it to a catch can and I can smell it every time I get on the gas and the blowby starts pushing fumes through the catch can.

You can walk into any auto parts store and get one. Or browse Jegs.com or SummitRacing.com.
